1)     National Cadet Corps (NCC) - Army Wing

Giving regular training parades on drill, weapon, map reading, personal hygiene, First Aid and Social Services

Objectives:

            To implement a close relationship between the college and society.  To provide the opportunity to the service is the rural area.  To encourage the students to participate in the process of national development and promote the national integration.

Activities:

  Celebrating secular festivals along with rural people

  Cleaning college campus and college hostel campus

  Organizing road safety awareness programme

  Organizing one-week special camp in the village during the camp period

  Planting tree saplings, organizing medical camps and conducting cultural programmes

            Activities:

  Conducting general knowledge test and IAS model test for the student of our college

  Conducting Inter-collegiate and inter-school general knowledge test for the school and college students respectively.

To impart the knowledge of photography and develop the skill of photography.  This club has its own digital camera.

Preparation of Master Album containing stills of various functions and programmes held in the college

To help the students have a glimpse of global cultures, flora and fauna of the world through collecting stamps

                          To encourage the creativity of the students.

  Identify the writing still of the students by conducting competitions

26) Writer’s forum (English)

            Objective

To develop the competency of the students in their writing skill.  To sharpen their critical thinking and literary sensibility and to develop self-confidence

  Releasing Manuscript magazine “ADBEAMS” twice in a year

31) Project, Research and Publication Committee

            Objective

The objective of the committee is to encourage the faculty to apply for the minor and major research projects and to identify the different funding agencies for research projects and to keep records regarding the publications in the research journals.

Provide information to the faculty about the variance research projects

 

Arrange Special Lectures on how to apply for research projects and other related aspects, etc.
